Movie Review: Freaks (1932)
The movie Freaks was recommended to me as being a “disturbing” movie but it is disturbing only in the mildest way possible. Infamous for its use of disabled actors, the movie was banned in the UK for 30 years – partially for its murderous plotline, but mostly (I suspect) for showing so many deformities on screen.
